You see the cranes rising above downtown Austin as more towering condominium buildings and apartment complexes become part of our urban landscape.
And you might wonder what it would be like to live downtown. Then you might kick around whether an apartment or a condo is more your style.
On Oct. 11, the Downtown Austin Neighborhood Association's Downtown Living Tour will let you inside five apartment and six condo buildings.
The tour allows potential residents to suss out what's where and what's what in the downtown housing market while mingling with residents who've already made the plunge.
